October 31st What About…Baptism
All of us have formed certain opinions of what baptism is, based on our religious background. The Bible teaches that baptism does not result in salvation, but follows salvation as a public announcement of our identification with Jesus. Luke 11:37-38

November 7th What About...Divorce & Remarriage
Today we focus on what Jesus said about marriage. God intended marriage to be permanent. What God has joined together, let man not separate. If something has truly become one it cannot be taken apart. Even though this is true, God’s grace is still available to divorced people who acknowledge this truth and confess their sin. Matthew 5:31-32, 19:3-12

November 14th What About…Sex
God is not against sex - He created it! But when there is sex outside of marriage it always leads to confusion and complications. Sexual sin does more to undo what God is doing in our lives than anything else. We are to use our bodies in a way that honors God. However, no matter what has happened in our lives, God can begin to rebuild and reshape us. 1 Corinthians 6:9-18

November 21st What About...Eternal Security
It is very hard to think of having a relationship with God if we think we have to win His approval over and over. Our salvation does not come from winning God’s approval-it is because of God’s grace we can be saved through our faith in Him. This is a gift from God that can not be lost or taken away. We cannot behave our way out of God’s kingdom, just as we can not behave our way in. Ephesians 2

November 28th What About…Seekers
They are everywhere--friends, family, neighbors, co-workers. Are they seeking God or wondering what it means to be in a relationship with Him, or are they keeping their distance? Have past hurts or experiences kept them from worshipping with other believers? What's keeping you from taking the first step in reaching out to those that God has placed into your life for a specific purpose?
