Ann & Sondra Werlein
Sondra Werlein is our paid staff member who heads up our Children’s Ministry. She has been involved in nursery care and teaching Sunday School for many years. She has a passion for touching the lives of children in creative ways. She is currently a Senior at UW-Green Bay majoring in Elementary Education. Ann Werlein, a second grade teacher at Suamico Elementary, gives valuable leadership as well.
Cradle Kids for newborns—17 months; Cradle Kids is staffed by trained workers who desire to provide infants the safest possible environment. Rest assured that your child will be cared for and loved.
Kid Steps is for toddlers 18 months—35 months old. Your child will experience a short Bible story and song time as well as have fun with teachers who truly care as they take their first steps towards Jesus.
Kid Stuff for Preschoolers ages 3 and 4 years old: Introducing Your Child to God’s Love
Your child may not be able to do calculus or understand quantum physics just yet, but that doesn’t mean they’re too young to learn about God’s love for them. Hand’s On for tots is full of fun activities, yummy snacks, and amusing skits that will engage your child as they are introduced to the wonders of God’s Word. Each lesson takes important stories and points from the Bible and produces a simple Bible message that even your little ones can understand.
Kid’s Corner for 5 year olds—1st grade: Building a Firm Foundation in Christ
Inquisitive young minds are always welcome at Kid’s Corner. Here your child will find a safe, inviting environment where they can learn about God’s love and how He will be there for them through life’s challenges. Kid’s Corner is full of energy and life; it’s a place where your child will become grounded in the Word ofGod. This solid foundation will lead to an deeper understanding as your child grows in the Lord
Kidmo for 2nd through 5th graders: Creating a Community for Christ
When it’s about connecting with kids it’s all Kidmo! In Kidmo your child will explore God’s Word through energetic media-based lessons. Kidmo begins with an engaging Worship experience that will get your kids off their feet as they sing about the wonders of God’s glory. They will laugh and be drawn in as they watch Kidmo leader Johnny Rogers on his crazy adventures. But there is a serious side that will empower and strengthen your child’s faith. After the media presentation, the kids have the opportunity to build an intimate relationship with Christ through engaging small group discussions. Your kids are faced with daily pressures; Kidmo will allow your kids to be themselves as they learn that they needn’t worry about worldly things, but to put their faith in the Lord. We invite your children to join us for Kidmo.
